Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was the child of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), both of whom were real estate agents. Her grandfather was a Greek who come to Greece in 1904 and her mother was of Irish origin. In the year 1976, her parents were married. Psaki also has Polish origins. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In 2000 she graduated with an education from the College of William & Mary. She is an active member of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki participated in backstroke swimming for William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki started her career in 2001 when she was involved in the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later named the deputy press secretary of John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, and was the regional press secretary of Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki's new role as an analyst in 2022's United States elections, and during the 2024 presidential election. In 2023, she will also host a program on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform. [35] Psaki first appeared on TV in 2023 after she was fired from her position as White House press secretary and talked about the Robb Elementary School school shooting.
