Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18, 1967, is an American actress and producer as well as writer. Her film roles include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016). Bello appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998), along with other roles that featured her as the star, such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on 18 April 1967 in Norristown in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Kathy who was a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In the seventh grade at Villanova University, she majored in the field of politics. Bello continued to train in acting through participation in numerous New York theatre productions. Bello, along with Dan McDermott is the proud mother of Jackson. [18] She has written about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She published a book called Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the labels we assign to Others (Dey Street Books, April 28 in 2015).
