My most important classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also traveled with her to Chicago and Paris to examine art. Her enthusiasm for art made it an enjoyable experience. She also said that "Art History is like an intricate puzzle. As art historians, we keep trying to find the pieces that are connected." I was educated in the auto industry by my dad and had to work in the dealership each summer. One summer I was mechanic's assistant, changing oil and brake pads.
