Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, as well as hosting a TV show on MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in May 2021. This was to allow for them to release Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. Her guest appearances include on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball credits her passion for politics to the fact that she became a mom during the 2008 primary elections, and also was able to watch the US presidential election results while in Jordan. She was able observe the impact of the election on people living in Jordan, and thus she was able to appreciate the impact that US politics have on the lives of all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional District in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She co-hosted the MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She founded the People's House Project in May 2017 to promote Democratic causes.
